This is John's story where the healing powers of enzymes are clearly explained to allow you to make a healthy choice alongside modern treatments.

Before September of 2007 I could spell the word enzymes and I had also heard of enzymes, but I had no idea of their importance, particularly in relation to my health and the health of my friends and family.

A health challenge earlier in the year had caused me to research into various claims of natural and healthy cures of cancer, so when a friend invited me to attend a lecture by a doctor who had been diagnosed with cancer and had treated herself successfully, I jumped at the opportunity.

Dr. DicQie Fuller, Ph.D., D.Sc., holds a Ph.D. in nutrition and health sciences and had investigated the research on enzymes so as to help her infant daughter through a health challenge. Modern medicine had been unable to help, but an enzyme therapy was highly successful. This encouraged Dr. Fuller to pursue her enzyme research further, and eventually resulted into her founding a company producing high quality enzyme supplements from vegetable sources.

There are many types of enzymes. Some are used as odour eliminators; some in laundry operations to remove stains; but the most important uses are for breaking down food for digestion and for maintaining the health of our bodies.

I learned that over 100 years ago in the 1890s, a Doctor John Beard was a professor at Edinburgh University. He realised the similarity of the growth of the placenta of a fetus, to the growth of a cancer tumour. Dr J Beard observed that the placenta stopped growing when the fetal pancreas began to produce enzymes on the 56th day of pregnancy. Dr. Beard experimented in injecting cancer tumours with pancreatic enzymes. Apparently his experiments were extremely successful and he published his findings. He had discovered that pancreatin was the body's primary method of destroying cancer, and therefore its use in cases with enzyme deficiencies was an effective and non-toxic method of dealing with cancerous cells.

Why the medical fraternity ignored these findings and pursued the comparative dangerous treatments of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is unknown, but finance probably played a part; there would not have been a great deal of profit in enzymes for the growing pharmaceutical industry.

Wow, am I thankful for Dr. Beard's discoveries and Dr. Fuller's research? Absolutely! In August 2007 a full scan on my body revealed many fast growing seedlings of cancer, whereas after an intensive course of enzyme therapy, a second full body scan in March 2008 revealed "There are no abnormalities!" Further, with having refused chemotherapy and radiotherapy, there were no toxic side-effects.

Enzymes are contained in our uncooked food, but only in sufficient quantities to break down that food, and the enzymes are destroyed upon cooking the food.

Our bodies generate enzymes, but the production diminishes with age from 20 years onwards. Some modern medications might also inhibit the body's production of enzymes.

The safe way is to take enzyme supplements; some taken with meals to break down food and so aid digestion, relieving the immune system of this task and reducing the burden upon the pancreas, these are known as Digestive Enzymes; others taken between meals on an empty stomach to enter the blood stream and so help the immune system in destroying cancerous cells and other trespassing protein, these are known as Systemic (Metabolic) Enzymes. Any surplus enzymes are believed to enter bones to be converted into blood corpuscles. A website dedicated to digestive enzymes can be viewed on this link. Whereas another website dedicated to the need of enzyme supplements for our cats and dogs can be seen here on this link.

Enzymes derived from vegetables are understood to be between 10 and 100 times more effective than those derived from animals. Those that I use are even encapsulated in a coating derived from vegetables, making them suitable for vegetarians.

My thoughts are that if we have sufficient enzymes in our body then illnesses would either never develop or would be dealt with effectively. Put another way, enzyme deficiencies could be responsible for many illnesses developing.

Another question that I ask myself is that if the body's production of enzymes begin to diminish from the age of 20 years onwards, is this an obvious part of the aging process? If so then it is reasonable to assume that if enzyme supplementation takes place, then the aging process is going to necessarily slow down! Great, that's means less wrinkles, a healthier complexion, and extremely good health!

I would recommend anyone with an illness to consider using enzymes; even in conjunction with modern medicine. Discuss with your doctor the use of enzymes. If your doctor already has a good knowledge of the healing power of enzymes or is open-minded he or she will realise the huge benefits.

I shall continue with my enzyme therapy to help maintain good health, and anyone wishing to use enzymes are welcome to contact me through the form below.

I want to emphasize that I used, and continue to use, a formulation of digestive enzymes and of systemic (metabolic) enzymes made according to Dr Fuller's exacting specifications, together with a drink containing limu-moui, aloe-vera, green-tea, and advanced-Russian-adaptogens.

Many enzyme preparations, and limu-moui drinks, can be obtained over the Internet or in health food stores, however they can differ in quality and therefore effectiveness. Quality, potency, manufacturing methods, and composition may vary widely among commercially available preparations of enzymes and health drinks.
